Terms of Service

Last updated: 13 August 2026

By accessing or using LucideTools, users agree to comply with these Terms of Service. If users do not agree with these terms, they should discontinue use of the platform.

Use of Services

LucideTools provides online calculators and related informational content for service businesses.

Users agree not to:

  • abuse the platform
  • attempt unauthorized access
  • interfere with platform operations
  • distribute malicious content
  • scrape the website excessively
  • use services for illegal activities

LucideTools reserves the right to restrict access if misuse is detected.

Tool Outputs and Calculations

Some tools generate automated calculations, estimates, or informational outputs.

Users are responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.

LucideTools does not guarantee:

  • financial accuracy
  • legal accuracy
  • professional certification
  • uninterrupted service

Tool outputs are provided for informational and productivity purposes only.

Accounts

Some features require an account. Users must provide a valid email address, verify that address, and keep their login credentials secure. Users are responsible for all activity that occurs under their account.

Accounts must not be shared. LucideTools may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms.

Plans and Pricing

LucideTools offers:

  • Free plan — $0/month. Access to all calculators with limited daily usage.
  • Pro plan — $9.99/month. Unlimited usage, no email gate, faster processing, and priority support.

All prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes that may apply in the user’s jurisdiction. Applicable taxes are calculated and shown at checkout.

LucideTools may change plan pricing. Existing subscribers will be given at least 30 days’ notice by email before a price change takes effect on their subscription, and may cancel before the change applies.

Subscriptions and Billing

The Pro plan is a recurring monthly subscription. Payments are processed by Stripe. LucideTools does not store or have access to full card numbers; card details are handled entirely by Stripe.

By subscribing, users authorise LucideTools to charge the payment method on file:

  • the first monthly charge immediately at the time of purchase, and
  • the same amount automatically on the same day of each following month until the subscription is cancelled.

The subscription renews automatically. There is no free trial and no introductory rate — the full monthly price is charged from the first payment onward. No further action is required to stay subscribed, and no reminder is sent before each renewal. Stripe emails a receipt for every successful charge.

If a month does not contain the original billing day, the charge is taken on the last day of that month.

Payment methods, invoices, and billing history can be managed at any time by selecting Manage Subscription from the account menu, which opens the Stripe billing portal.

Failed Payments

If a monthly payment fails, the account is moved to the free plan straight away, and the user is notified by email. Pro features are unavailable while the payment is outstanding.

Stripe then retries the charge automatically several times over a period of up to two weeks. If one of those retries succeeds, Pro access is restored automatically with no action needed from the user.

If every retry fails, the subscription is cancelled. Users can restore access at any time by subscribing again with a valid payment method.

Cancellation

Users may cancel a Pro subscription at any time by selecting Manage Subscription from the account menu, which opens the Stripe billing portal, and choosing to cancel there. Cancellation can also be requested by emailing support@lucidetools.com. No reason is required and there is no cancellation fee or minimum term.

Cancellation stops future renewals. Pro access continues until the end of the billing period that has already been paid for, after which the account moves to the free plan. No further charges are taken. Cancelling does not delete the account — users may resubscribe at any time.

LucideTools may cancel or suspend a subscription if these Terms are breached, if payment cannot be collected, or if the service is discontinued. If LucideTools discontinues the Pro plan, any unused portion of the current billing period will be refunded.

Refunds

If a user is not satisfied with the Pro plan, LucideTools will refund the most recent monthly charge in full if the request is made within 14 days of that charge. To request a refund, email support@lucidetools.com from the account email address.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe, normally within 5–10 business days depending on the card issuer. Refund requests are reviewed and answered within 1–3 business days.

Outside the 14-day window:

  • charges for past billing periods are non-refundable, and the subscription simply stops renewing once cancelled;
  • duplicate charges, charges taken after a confirmed cancellation, and charges caused by a billing error are always refunded in full;
  • refunds for extended service outages are considered case by case.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory right to cancel or to a refund that applies to the user under the consumer law of their own country.

Chargebacks

Users who believe a charge is incorrect are asked to contact support@lucidetools.com before raising a dispute with their bank, so the issue can be resolved directly. Accounts subject to a chargeback may be suspended pending resolution.

All branding, software systems, design elements, and platform content belong to LucideTools and Technologies Lucide Inc unless otherwise stated.

Users may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute platform content without permission.
